Evolution Powersports is never content with standing still. With the best tuning and most features available anywhere for the BRP MG1 vehicles, EVP decided it was time to mate the turbocharger that has won more 43mm class races and holds the world record in ET and MPH to our world-class X3 tuning! For those unfamiliar with the EVP Paragon direct replacement turbochargers – these are no-holds-barred the best turbochargers on the market. What makes the P43R the most dominant turbo system anywhere is the combination of advanced aerodynamics on both the compressor and turbine wheels, ported compressor inlet, and ceramic ball bearing CHRA.
From the outset, our goal was to make it easy and relatively inexpensive to add substantially more power to your 2021-'23 Can-Am X3. The P43R-325 turbo kit utilizes the same injectors and fuel pump as our 2021-'23 X3 big injector packages, so these components are reused. Only head studs, plenum clamp, race intercooler and clutching are needed to complete the kit. This package produces 325 crank horsepower on E85, which is about 125 more than stock. This life-changing power increase is delivered instantaneously thanks to the P43R’s quick spool design. Additionally, the turbo has a ton of overhead to make up to 420+ crank horsepower with an engine build and other supporting components.
The P43R-355 turbo kit utilizes all the same components but has a different fuel pump using the EVP Full Drop-In Fuel Pump Assembly with 340lph Pump, 4.5 Bar Regulator, and utilizes the EVP Torrent-F Intake Plenum. The P43R-355 package produces around 350 crank horsepower on E85, which is about 150 more than stock! This is a great upgrade for those with the P43R-325 kit looking to gain extra horsepower at a lower cost.

DYNO NOTE: Due to the MG1 ECU torque strategy, the boost figures listed represent maximum boost on a hot engine. When intake temps are cooler, the boost will be lower. However, it will make the same power as when the boost is higher. The ECU always tries to make the same power given environmental conditions and it does this by allowing the boost to increase as the intake temperature climbs.
