Description

The helix lives within the secondary clutch. The helix helps apply pressure to the CVT drive belt. There are two types of helixes, straight and progressive. Straight helixes will have the same angle cut the whole duration. A progressive helix with have two different cuts for different shift points. Different helixes with more aggressive or less aggressive angles can adjust the pressure on the belt and shift points. If you get too aggressive with the helix angle, and don't adjust the secondary spring you will cause belt slip. If your rpms are too low, a shallower range helix and/or stiffer secondary spring will raise rpm. This will also provide more squeeze on the belt which is useful if you are experiencing belt slip. Conversely, if your rpms are too high, a steeper range helix and/or softer secondary spring will lower rpm.

Return & Exchange Instructions:

To begin a return, please download and complete our Return Form and include it inside the package with your returned item(s).

Return Shipping:

We strongly recommend insuring your return shipment for the full value of the item. One Shot Powersports is not responsible for any lost or damaged packages during return transit.

Please do not ship items using the manufacturer’s packaging as the shipping container. This often results in damage, and the item will no longer be considered “new and unused.” Items that are installed, scratched, damaged, or show signs of use will not be eligible for a full return and may incur a restocking fee or be denied entirely. If your return is denied, you will be responsible for return shipping if you want the item sent back to you.

Non-Returnable Items:

The following items are non-returnable under any circumstances:

  • All electrical-related products
  • All fluids, including oils, aerosols, grease, and similar products
  • Custom-built items (such as roll cages, powder-coated components, etc.), unless explicitly approved for return

If you’re unsure whether your item qualifies for return, please reach out to our customer support team before sending it back.

Refused Packages:

If a package is refused by the customer without prior approval from One Shot Powersports, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from any applicable refund.

Refunds:
