Fast-forward a decade (and a handful of overseas knock-off attempts) later, and we’ve taken the original design to a whole ‘nother level with updates across the board that make the new EVP Shocker for Maverick R the most badass pipe in the game.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStarting from the top, the new Maverick R Shocker Down Pipe features a 3” diameter from turbo to muffler flange for better exhaust flow compared to the 2.5” OEM down pipe. In addition to the larger diameter, EVP’s signature “Bullet Muffler” has been integrated into the design to further enhance sound output. The internal Bullet Muffler design helps eliminate the annoying high-pitched “bite” and constant “droning” sound in the cab while still delivering a clean, deep, throaty rumble out of the Rotax powerplant. Lastly, due to the Maverick R’s lower down pipe mounting location compared to X3 and\/or RZR models, the updated Shocker design now features a welded-on stainless steel screen to prevent debris from entering the down pipe via the dump valve.
